Jo's roots are deeply embedded in a multi-cultural background, with an Anglo Indian mother and Dutch father, her family having lived in India, Holland, and the USA before finally settling in Croydon, where Jo was born as the last of six children. Her upbringing, and passion for rock and roll, fashion and the magic of movies, instilled in her a unique perspective on life.

Jo’s journey started working up through the ranks of production in television and music videos before finding her niche in new business, press and marketing.

On route she established the music video department for Godman and Agile films, commissioned music videos for independent labels including Rough Trade, 4AD and PIAS.  And later helped launched riff raff’s roster of music video directors in advertising.

Collaborating with renowned directors - names like names like Dougal Wilson, Johan Renck, Aoife McCardle and Richard Ayoade - with bands and artists including Jarvis Cocker, the Libertines, and TV on The Radio.

The ambition to forge and ignite creative relationships led her into advertising, where she worked with esteemed companies like riff raff, Rogue, and SKUNK. With directors from Francois Rousselet, and Georgi Banks Davies to renegade filmmakers: Megaforce; Canada; Richard Ayoade; and Simon Henwood pushing boundaries in the pursuit innovative storytelling.
